Polarized Lenses

Women’s eye health and safety month continues with polarized lenses! When choosing sunglasses it is important to get the right kind. Polarized sunglasses are great when it comes to protecting the eyes!

Benefits of polarized lenses:

• High contrast with minimal impact on color
• Clear and sharp vision
• Increase of visual clarity and comfort
• Reduced Eyestrain

Most polarized sunglasses provide UV protection which is important in maintaining healthy eye sight. Just as we put on sunscreen to protect our skin, it’s critical that we protect our eyes from UV rays too.

• Cataracts
• Keratitis
• Macular Degeneration

Polarized lenses can be combined with other features to enhance vision, such as bifocal lenses, progressive lenses, as well as, anti-reflective, scratch resistant and mirror coatings.
