What do you do at MH Optical?

S: Everything related to the shipping area, I also mark the progressive lenses and clean the lenses in the edging department

G: I work in different departments in addition to shipping, I can mark the progressive lenses, I also check the quality of the lens when it is ready for shipping or before going to the AR department.

¿Qué haces en Mh Optical?

S: Todo lo relacionado en el área de shipping además marco los lentes progresivos  y limpio los lente en el departamento de edging.

G: Trabajo en diferentes departamentos además de shipping puedo marcar los lentes progresivos también chequeo la calidad del lente cuando esta listo para shipping o AR departamento.

What do you like about working for MH Optical?

S: I like the work I do and the everyone in the company treats me well.

G: I enjoy my coworkers and the fast pace of the job.

¿Qué te gusta de trabajar en MH Optical?

S: Me gusta el trabajo que realizo y el buen trato que me dan todos en la compañía.

G: Disfruto de mis compañeros de trabajo y el ritmo rápido del trabajo.

How do you achieve success in your role?

S: I pay a lot of attention to the explanations that they give me regarding my work in order to do it better every day.

G: I always pay attention to all my responsibilities.

¿Cómo logra el éxito en su rol?

S: Presto mucha atención a las explicaciones que me dan referente a mi trabajo para de esa forma hacerlo cada día mejor.

G: Siempre presto atención a todas mis responsabilidades.

What is your background?

S: I was born in the Dominican Republic and studied at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in basic education and accounting. I also worked for 15 years in the Dominican government in the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, working in the administration position.I worked for the President of the Education Commission of the Employees’ Cooperative of that ministry.

In 2017 I came to live in the USA and since April 18 of that same year I have been working in this prestigious company. 

G: I was born in Ecuador and arrived in the USA in 2005 and since then I have been working in this company.

¿Cuál es tu historical?

S: Nací en Republica Dominicana y estudie en la universidad autónoma de Santo Domingo donde obtuve eltitulo de licensiatura en educación básica y contabilidad Ademas trabaje 15 años en el gobierno Dominicano en el ministerio de obras publicas ycomunicaciones, laborando en el cargo deadministración.

También estuve en el cargo de presidenta de la comisión de educación de la cooperativa de empleados de ese ministerio.

En el año 2017 llegue a vivir a USA y desde el 18 de abril de ese mismo año me encuentro trabajando en esta prestigiosa compañía.

G: Nací en Ecuador y llegue a USA en el ano 2005 y desde entonces trabajo en esta compañía.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

S: To make sure the work is the best possible quality is my greatest responsibility. 

G: The best advice I have received is from Rene and Paku to execute my work better every day. 

¿Cuál es el mejor consejo que has recibido?

S: Que el trabajo sea con la mejor calidad posible es mi mayor responsabilidad.

G: Los mejores consejos que he recibido son de parte de Rene y Paku para desarrollar mi trabajo cada día mejor.

Do you have a mentor? If so, tell us about them.

S: I am mentored by Gladiz, Paku and Rene, who are excellent people that show great responsibility and experience. 

 G: My mentor is Joann, she always supervises my work in the best way.

S: Me educan Gladiz, Paku y Rene que son excelentes personas con responsabilidad y experiencia.

G: Mi educador es Joanne siempre supervisa mi trabajo de la mejor forma.

Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you.

S: The thing that surprises me and amazes me is that despite my little knowledge of English I can do my job.

G: I am very fun and sociable with everyone and my 8 hours of work I have a lot of fun creating a pleasant day at work…

Cuéntanos un dato sorprendente o divertido sobre ti.

S:  Lo mas que me sorprende y me asombra es que a pesar de mi  poco conocimiento el ingles puedo realizar mi trabajo.

G: Soy muy divertida y sociable con todos y mis 8 horas de trabajo me divierto a plenitud pasando un agradable jornada de trabajo…
