Our lab is set up for seamless production, making sure every machine has a backup. We are constantly researching the newest technologies and keeping ourselves educated within the industry.
Surfacing
We have top-notch surfacing equipment that provides accuracy and quality in our products, providing automation and quality control. We do Varilux, Shamir, Kodak and VSP all in-house. some equipment and surfacing highlights include:

Edging
Our edging department offers custom tints, assembly, repairs, engravings, in addition to hard-to-do edging jobs.
- MEI Bisphera and Racer - these block-less machines satisfy fast turnaround and quality, edging even the most difficult jobs with precision and accuracy. We can quickly cut any shape, bevel edge, holes, and profile with the advanced software included in the machines, that even gives a preliminary inspection to the lenses to check for prescription accuracy.
- MEI EasyFit Trend - features an innovative tracing system that further increases the overall productivity by performing custom and otherwise difficult jobs without stopping production on the two larger MEI machines. We can make any custom engravings on the lens with only a JPEG image. Bevels and wraps are no match for the EasyFit!
After completion, we have a two-part inspection process. First, we send jobs through an automated inspector by A&R, ensuring prescription, axis, prism, and decentration are all within tolerance. Then a skilled member of our team verifies that information and checks for any cosmetic or edging defects
AR Lab
We are one of the longest independent labs to offer in -house AR. In addidition to a wide variety of high-quality coatings we proudly offer Crizal® coatings, known for their premium performance and clarity. We also provide mirrors and flash mirrors, and accept customer lenses for coating application. Some equipment and coating highlights include:
